Class Descriptions

Ballet is a primary foundational skill for all dance. Ballet is reccomended to suppliment all dance styles. Designed to strengthen and refine the foundational principles of classical ballet, emphasizing proper alignment, posture, and core stability. Through detailed instruction in basic positions, footwork, and barre exercises, students will develop a deeper understanding of technique and build the strength necessary for more advanced movements. From beginning ballet for exposure, through advanced technique classes we strongly encourage ballet classes to supplement all other classes. Ballet is a foundational skill that can transfer through all dance styles. 

Lyrical dance class blends the technical elements of ballet and jazz with the emotional expressiveness of contemporary movement. Students will explore fluidity, grace, and storytelling through dance, learning to connect music and emotion in each phrase. Emphasizing strong technique and emotional expression, this class encourages dancers to move with intention and connect deeply with the music.

Cheer Skills class focuses on building strength, flexibility, and technique for cheerleaders, with an emphasis on tumbling and jumps, but no stunting. Students will work on mastering fundamental tumbling skills such as back handsprings, cartwheels, and round-offs, as well as perfecting jumps and motion techniques. Ideal for athletes looking to improve their cheerleading performance or prepare for competition or another team outside of the studio, this class develops both athleticism and precision in a supportive, skill-building environment.

Our Non-Affiliated All Star Cheer program offers high-energy training in stunting, tumbling, jumps, and performance routines—without the commitment to a specific cheer brand. Ideal for beginner to intermediate athletes, these classes focus on skill-building, teamwork, and confidence in a fun, supportive environment. Great for those looking to compete or simply grow in the sport!

Tap focuses on developing rhythm, coordination, and musicality through the foundational techniques of tap dancing. Students will learn basic steps, footwork, and patterns while building speed and clarity in their taps. Ideal for beginners and advanced tappers alike, or those looking to refine their skills, tap class combines fun, energetic choreography with a strong emphasis on timing and sound. 

Hip hop class introduces students to the fundamentals of street dance, focusing on groove, rhythm, and style. Whether you're a beginner or experienced dancer, the class teaches core hip hop techniques, including isolations, footwork, and body control, all set to upbeat, energetic music. With a focus on fun, confidence, and self-expression, students will learn dynamic choreography while building their own unique movement style.

This engaging class blends dance and storytelling to bring iconic Broadway-style performances to life. Students will explore a variety of styles influenced by classic and contemporary musical theater, including the stylized movement of Bob Fosse, upbeat jazz, and character-driven choreography. Emphasis is placed on performance quality, expression, and stage presence. Due to the maturity and themes of some common and popular Broadway musical selections, this class is recommended for students ages 10 and up. Perfect for performers who love to dance, act, and shine on stage!

Company will be an invitation and audition based team that invitations will be sent for based upon the master teachers discretion. Intended for advanced dancers. 18+ prefered, 16+ required. 

Jazz classes explore the dynamic and expressive elements of jazz dance, emphasizing flexibility, coordination, and athleticism. Students will learn a variety of jazz techniques, including sharp isolations, powerful leaps, and fluid turns, while building confidence in both classic and contemporary styles. With an upbeat, energetic atmosphere, this class encourages personal style and creativity while strengthening fundamental dance skills.

Latin fusion class combines the vibrant rhythms and passionate movements of salsa and bachata, blending traditional steps with modern flair. Students will learn fundamental footwork, body movement, and possibly partner work, all while building rhythm and musicality. Whether you're new to Latin dance or looking to refine your skills, this high-energy class emphasizes fun, confidence, and cultural expression through the dynamic styles of salsa and bachata.

Our Competition Dance Teams will specialize in lyrical, hip hop, jazz, and pom. Dancers focus on technique, performance, and precision while building teamwork and confidence. Team members must be enrolled in the Competition Dance class, as well as the appropriate level class for their age in their competing style, and are selected through an audition process. Teams compete at regional events in a supportive, high-energy environment.
